We are a family from Cape Cod sharing the real stories behind our RV travels—from campgrounds and scenic roads to National Parks and memorable destinations. Along the way, we share the problems we encounter, the lessons we learn, and the practical solutions that can help you plan unforgettable RV adventures of your own.
How Our RV Journey Began

Our RV journey did not begin with a carefully designed travel plan. It began with family camping trips at Bear Brook State Park, where we discovered how much we enjoyed slowing down, spending time together, and exploring somewhere new.
We started in a tent and eventually moved into an RV. That change gave our family the freedom to travel farther, stay longer, and make the road itself part of the experience. Our first cross-country RV trip brought us to Grand Canyon National Park. Standing at the rim together changed the way we looked at travel. We no longer wanted to simply visit attractions. We wanted to experience the places, people, landscapes, campgrounds, and unexpected moments that make every journey different.
The Grand Canyon helped inspire our goal of visiting all 63 National Parks, but our story is bigger than a checklist. We also explore campgrounds, scenic roads, historic sites, National Park Service locations, family attractions, and destinations that simply give us a reason to pull out the map and start planning.
The Challenge Behind Every Adventure
RV travel can look effortless in photographs, but anyone who has spent time on the road knows there is more happening outside the frame. Families and couples must choose routes, manage travel days, find the right campgrounds, stay within a budget, maintain the RV, adjust to changing weather, and decide which experiences are truly worth their limited time.
We have faced those same questions. We have changed plans, repaired equipment, learned from poor choices, found destinations that exceeded our expectations, and discovered that the most memorable part of a trip is not always the part we planned.
The RVer problem: It can be difficult to separate the perfect-looking version of RV travel from the practical information needed to plan a real trip.
