Sparrow Pond Family Campground Review

Sparrow Pond Family Campground was our last stop on our cross-country trip from Cape Cod to the Grand Canyon National Park.

This was a one-night stop for us before returning home. We were able to enjoy one last campfire, a few hours in the awesome swimming pool, and get some laundry done before the final push home.

How to Get There

Sparrow Pond Family Campground is easily accessible from I-90 in upstate Pennsylvania.  Located a quick 12 miles south of Erie, Pennsylvania, and just 20 minutes from Presque Isle State Park.

Cost and Amenities

There are many different Rv site options throughout the park. They offer pond view, valley view, full hookup sites, and more private shaded sites.

The cost of the sites ranges from low $40 to high $70 per night. They also offer seasonal sites. If you’re looking to make a reservation we recommend reviewing their website to choose what is best for you.

RV Park Review

If you are looking for a place near Erie PA to camp with the family, Sparrow Pond is certainly recommended.

The staff while we were there were great, and the park was well maintained. There was more than enough for the kids to do to keep them entertained, while we caught up on laundry.

Although we were there only for one night we had no negative issues during our stay.,

The pool was clean and big enough the kids could let off some steam and not bother other guests.

We would recommend Sparrow Pond to other families looking for a nice Rv getaway.
